Soymilk Cookies

Soymilk Cookies

Control your calorie intake in a healthful way

Soymilk Cookies have low calorie content yet provide nutrients essential to the human body. The ingredients have been carefully selected (premium Japanese soybeans grown naturally in the northern island of Hokkaido – without genetic modification) to assure the best in quality. No preservatives or additives, including artificial sweeteners. And what’s really special about these cookies is one of the ingredients, “okara.” “Okara” is soy pulp with a very unique characteristic of expanding THREE TIMES its volume when water is added. That’s the reason why only 7 cookies are in a package to replace a meal. You won’t get those hunger pangs while you take control of the calories.

Dieting should never be so complicated or demanding. All you need to do is restrict the calories without starving your body. Try these cookies and lose weight the simple, straight forward soy way.

It’s a piece of cake – no, 7 pieces of Soymilk Cookie

All that’s required of you is to replace one of your meals with a package of these cookies (7 cookies per package). Can you make that commitment? Even if you have a lunch appointment or a night out, you don’t need to sacrifice the diet routine. But do remember that the cookie diet is more effective if you have the cookies instead of that one meal in your day with the highest calories. And take lots of liquids, preferably water (or something healthy that makes you happy, like non-fat/low-fat milk, soy milk, green tea, fresh juice, etc.).
The key is to ‘feed’ the “okara” and let it fill your stomach.

Soymilk Cookies come in 3 flavors

Plain [7 cookies per package, a total of 150kcal]
The Plain cookies are hard-baked to help you spend a little extra time chewing. Chewing not only aids digestion (so that nutrients are sufficiently extracted from the cookies), it also helps you learn to slow down when you eat (rather than getting as much food to your stomach as quickly as possible), both of which are really important in dieting.
Sesame [7 cookies per package, a total of 150kcal]
A touch of sesame – The tiny black dots are black sesame (unhulled and roasted). In Japanese cuisine, black sesame is preferred for its flavor and nutritional value, with more than twice the amount of calcium found in hulled/white sesame. Again, we have the health benefits in mind.
Green Tea [7 cookies per package, a total of 150kcal]
A hint of green tea – Green tea has become increasingly popular in the United States as a source of antioxidants. Powdered green tea is used in these cookies as it allows better consumption of the beneficial nutrients found in green tea leaves.

How to Diet with Soymilk Cookies

For best results:

  • As a meal replacement, consume no more than 1 package of cookies per day. (1 package with 7 cookies is for 1 meal.) Take plenty of liquids when you eat the cookies such as water (or other healthy drinks that suit your needs, such as non-fat/low-fat milk, soy milk, green tea, fresh juice, etc.). To let the “okara” fully absorb the liquid and expand in your stomach, 2 glasses or more are recommended. Feeling full is one of the keys in weight-loss success.
  • Go ahead and step on that scale to check your daily weight. Diet results are often influenced by how determined you are before you start on the weight loss program. Remember your commitment and remind yourself that your objective is to lose approximately a pound a day. Tell yourself that you can do it, because you can!

Message from “The Cookie Chef”

“Thank you very much for your interest in my Soymilk Cookies.

As a Bakery Chef with over 50 years of professional experience, I hoped to offer something different to my customers – cookies that not only help people lose some extra weight, but are also healthy and safe to eat. From the health perspective there should be nothing artificial, so no preservatives or additives have been used. As for ingredients I looked for the best ingredients I could find in Japan. I even purchased special equipment so that I could make the soy milk from the beans. I refuse to use tap water, so I had the purest groundwater specially delivered to my bakery.

It took many trials and errors to devise my own method for making these cookies, but I am very pleased with the result – a low calorie, high fiber cookie with nutritional value that controls hunger. Soymilk Cookies are now a very popular diet product in Japan and have sold as many as 20,000,000 meals. I hope that my cookies will help anyone, in the United States or in Japan, looking for a simple and straightforward way to diet – the soy way. ”
